The Smart Air SA600 Air Purifier utilizes cutting edge technology and pulls the air from front to back similiar to a fan. With most air purifiers, you only get 1 pass through the filter system with this type of design. Smart Air wanted to ensure that you got maximum effectiveness so it added a second set of filters on the outflow side giving you another pass through before releasing the air back into the room for you to breathe. Twice as nice as other single filter system competitor units.
Two true hepa filters help to capture 99.97% down to .3 microns in size of particulates and allergens. It is recommended to change the hepa filters out every 24 months depending on environment and air quality application. Also get the power of 2 carbon pressed filters that help absorb harmful gases, VOC's, odors, chemicals, etc. It is recommended to change the carbon filters out every 18 to 24 months on average.
